On Jan. 23 the Boys Basketball teams had a home conference game against the Forest Area Warriors. The Bulldogs knew coming into this game that they would need to win this one to get some momentum going.
In the first quarter the bulldogs started strong, with good defense and getting baskets to fall. while the bulldogs got 11 points while holding the warriors to 9. As the bulldogs end the first with a 11-9 lead going into the second.
In the second quarter the bulldogs started getting more shot while giving up more points but the bulldogs were still ahead and fighting off the warriors. as they went up by 3 going into halftime as they are up 27-24
In the third quarter the Bulldogs they needed a spark right off the bat and they got just that for the first time this season. The Dogs went hot right out of the gate and started making shots fast. But they started giving up ore points to go along with that. as they were now up 47-45
In the fourth quarter the Bulldogs ran away with the game putting up 22 to the Warriors 11 giving them time to have some fun. As the Bulldogs win 69-56
The bulldogs will play Onaway at home on Jan. 28
